personal funding faq

Q: Will we need to pay any upfront charges with your personal funding services?

A: There are NEVER any upfront fees or application fees for our personal funding services.  The only charge you will incur before your funding is signing up for a credit check total account (  During the course of funding, we will need access to this account in order to monitor your credit.  

Q: What is your success fee for personal funding services?

A: We only get paid if you get funding.  Our backend success fee is 10% of all credit lines acquired. 

Q: Is my information safe and secure with you?

A: YES, your information is always handled with the strictest of confidentiality.  During the review process, we and our processor will be the only ones who see and view your personal information.  

Q: How many trade lines/credit accounts will I need to have reporting on my credit in order to qualify for funding?

A: You will need at least 3-4 revolving primary trade lines (we can work with less depending on the rest of your profile).  Trade lines should be seasoned for at least 12 months, however, 24 months is preferred.

Q: Can a co-signer be used when applying for unsecured personal lines of credit?

A: Unfortunately, no.  A co-signer may NOT be used.  Whoever is on the loan application must meet all qualifications for funding.  However, if you do not qualify, you are welcome to find a credit partner (spouse, friend, family member, etc) who does qualify.

Q: What is the minimum credit score required to obtain unsecured personal lines of credit?

A: Your credit score must be a minimum of 680. In addition your credit profile must also meet other funding criteria.  Please refer to each funding programs page to view qualifications.  

Q: How many inquiries am I allowed to have?

A: No more than 4 inquiries per bureau in the last 90 days.  However, depending on the strength of the file, we can possibly work with more inquiries.

Q: What must my utilization ratio be in order to qualify for unsecured personal lines of credit?

A: Overall utilization of revolving accounts must be below 60% of credit limit, and for any individual line, utilization must be below 60% as well.  Ex. If you have a credit card with a limit of $1,000 you must be carrying a limit of NO MORE than $600.  However, depending on the strength of the file, we can possibly work with higher utilization ratios.  

Q: Do I really need to have at least one credit card with a $5,000 limit in order to qualify for unsecured personal lines of credit?

A: NO, it is not necessary.  Lower limits can still be funded but in order to get maximum results, one credit card with a $5,000 limit is preferred, but again NOT necessary.  

Q: Can I still qualify for unsecured personal lines of credit with a Bankruptcy on my credit report?

A: Yes, however, the bankruptcy must be at least 5 years old.

Q: Can I still qualify with other derogatory information such as tax liens, collection accounts, late payments, judgments, etc?  

A: It is possible, as all credit files that have derogatory information are reviewed on a case by case basis.  

Q: A prequalification evaluation and funding quote will take approximately how long?

A: In order to receive a prequalification and funding quote, you must send your credit check total ( log in information or a PDF of your credit check total report to and from there it will take us approximately 24-48 hours, not including weekends and holidays.  However, for all approved clients, we must have access to your credit check total for the duration of the funding process.  

Q: How long does it take to complete the personal funding process?

A: Depending on the amount of requested funds, it takes about 2-5 days for us to complete our submissions. It then takes approximately 2-10 business days for the funding to arrive after the date of approval.

Q: Will Income documentation be required for personal funding?

A: No, income documentation is not needed on 99% of our funding applications.  

Q: Is there an ALL cash funding option?

A: No, our personal funding comes in the form of major bank issued personal lines of credit and cards- such as: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Once client is funded we can provide a general overview of how they can liquidate their credit cards.  However, we do not guarantee that any/or all cards can be liquidated, and we cannot do this process for them.  

Q: What are the interest rates on these unsecured personal lines of credit?

A:  For most well qualified clients 0% APR is common for the first 12 months.  However, the average interest rates are between 8%-18%.  Depending on the strength of the credit file the rates can be higher or lower than the given average rates.  

Q: What will my minimum monthly payments be?

A:  Your minimum monthly payments are determined by your current balance.  However, as a general rule of thumb, your minimum monthly payments will be between 2%-2.5% of your current balance.

Q: When will I be required to pay the fees for you providing the personal funding services?

A: We will provide you with written instructions regarding payment of each funding account which will be due after you receive each unsecured line of credit.

Q: What forms of payment will you accept for payment?

A: We collect our backend fee via several methods of payment: PayPal, Credit Card Charge Authorization Form, and over the phone.

Q: Can you do personal funding using only my Equifax credit file and not Experian or Transunion?

A: Yes, we can by using our Equifax Only Funding Program and our Experian Only Funding Program.  However, we do not provide funding with TransUnion only.

Q: What is the max amount of funding I can obtain?

A: Based on the strength of the personal credit file we can do funding up to a maximum of $200,000.00 using our 3-Bureau Funding Program.  If you choose to utilize one of our single funding programs, you can get a maximum amount of $60,000.

Q: If I need more funds, can I get more at a later date?  

A: YES, it is possible to come back for more funding after your first round, at approximately 6-9 months later.  If you are a previous client, contact us at to see if you qualify for additional funds.

Q: Will you be removing credit inquiries from my report following funding?

A: No, we do not provide removal of credit inquiries. We do have a credit repair partner that we can refer you to.  To receive a quote for inquiry removal, please send your credit check total ( log-in information or a PDF of your credit check total report to

Q: What is the minimum amount of funding available through your personal funding services?

A: The minimum amount of funding we will submit for is $20,000 (certain exceptions apply).  However, depending on the strength of the credit file, approvals may come back lower than that amount.

Q: What is the difference between your personal funding programs and your business funding programs?

A: Their are several differences.  Our personal funding program is much LESS stringent with its qualification criteria.  Majority of our business funding programs require a credit score of over 720+, and a much stronger credit profile, and approval amounts tend to come in lower.  In addition, business funding does not report to any of the major credit bureaus (unless loans are defaulted on), as opposed to all personal funding, which reports to all major credit bureaus in your name.  Lastly, with our personal funding program you can use the funds for ANYTHING, no questions asked.
